Who Am I?

I believe at this point, there's nothing I could say about myself that would change the minds of those who have already gathered an opinion about me but, in the same respect I probably have or will do the same to them. For the new visitors who don't know me at all and are curious about me. This is for you.

My name is Beth, my movie making alias is Sim-plyMe. I'm twenty four years old. I just turned twenty four in February. That makes me a piscies. I've been married for almost three years (in July) but, technically I've been with him for six. We currently live in Missouri and bought our first house last year. I have two dogs and two cats. I'm hoping for another dog but, I doubt that'll happen. My parents are still together, they live across town, and have been for over fifthteen years. I have a younger brother who just graduated highschool and sister just entering. Before this, I use to write poetry and post them at another site of mine. That was awhile ago though and that page has long since been deleted. Most of my family knows about my weird little hobby but, none of them seem to care. Which is fine by me.

I don't like to label myself as someone who is artistic, creative, or whatever because I'll probably sound even more arrogant than I really am. I'm very self conscious and completely serious most of the time. I don't spout out delusions that this hobby will some day make me a real director because it's just not likely. You can dream if you want but, I'm content with where I am now. I'm also not really into the machinima contests and festivals. This is something I do for fun only. I enjoy watching sims movies more than making them. I'm certainly not this loud barbaric evil do-er but, you do have to stick up for yourself and be sincere because online that is very hard to find. I'm usually really nice until I've been annoyed by something or someone. I ignore most of the negative stuff going on in the sims community because theres a drama for everything. Sims content, stories, movies, contests... you name it and it's there.

The Sims 2

I also came into the sims movie making scene a little late. Almost too late, I think. I've been the fan of "The Sims" since I was in my teens. Superstar was my favorite! We got new computer I was able to finally play The Sims 2 the way it was went to be played. I quickly found and became addicted to downloading the custom content and player made stories. It hadn't occured to me that you could film with the game. I accidently found sims99 back in 2005 while googling for cheats and became interested in the concept of making a video. The first sims movie I ever saw was "For Love or Obsession" by Treasa. It's weird how I remember that. I quickly became a big fan of the directors whom are also hosted at simspremiere. It looked like fun so decided to give it a try. I couldn't think of a more creative way to spend my evenings alone while my husband is at work and share my favorite music with everyone. It's been a nice experience and I've talked to some really great people. I'm glad I stuck around. I'm really a fangirl at heart and only stay to watch their movies.

Before I completely give up the sims, I want to try my hand at story making.
